Hospitals are now starting to use memory foam mattresses as they provide a lot of amazing benefits for patients. As they are so comfortable, yet ironically supportive, bed bound patients or post op and bone and muscle problem patients will get much relief from these beds. These mattresses also react to pressure and each time you move the mattress conforms itself to your shape so it supports you without being clingy as well. You won’t get stuck in this mattress.

The memory foam prevents bed sores, which is a painful condition suffered by log term bed bound patients. On top of being ill, being struck with bed sores is not a nice condition. This also take s up more valuable hospital resources to treat. A modern memory foam mattress does also not need turning. this will save staff resources and is good in hospitals where space is limited.

As you can see this beds provide many uses in hospitals. They have more advantages over air beds. They do not need to be hooked to a power supply to keep circulating air, they prevent bed sores, they are dust and allergy free, they offer excellent support and the mattress can cool down or heat up according to your body temperature. This is why hospitals are now using them more and more.
